Sadly, my Elder Scrolls: Oblivion game has fallen by the wayside, but the new Impulse Int'l record has fallen into the foreground.

none of the chicks I met in Oblivion look like the chick up there.

Played with Bobby the chimp the other day at the primate sanctuary. Sometimes I wonder, Why am I here? All I do is clean up monkey poop. But there are moments when this is the coolest unpaid job in the world. I've also been in the enclosure with Jeremy the capuchin monkey. We had to clean algae off his floor. He came up to me, set his hands on my leg and looked at me as if to say, "Hi there. What's new with you? Got any gum?" I started to think, OK this is where he jumps on my face and scratches my eyes out, but Jeremy is a good monkey.

My only friend in Pinellas county has built an aqua-sled...which we plan to tie to the back of his boat and then one of us (probably me) will use it to get to the bottom of the Gulf of Mexico while in tow of the 18 foot sailboat. It will be awesome...or I will hit a crab trap and die.

This morning I saw an armadillo tromping across my front lawn. It was awesome! I was beginning to think that armadillos only existed in a smooshed up form that lays alongside the highways in Florida.

I went into the garage to record something and there was a lizard sitting on my guitar amp! I jumped like a little girl and he scampered away. I think I have contact with more animals than I do with humans...and that's just fine.

A few days ago Jea and I started to find Black Racer snakes all around our front porch. We googled them and they're "mostly harmless." They're the only snake that is known to actually charge humans, though, and even though they're not venomous, you can get salmonella from their bite because they have such dirty mouths. I counted six heads at once. Two of them started to do it on our front step. Pretty crazy, right? But the next day they were gone. I guess they were migrating or something.

Saw this guy doing it with his house mate the other day. They're cute even when they're doing it.

Its Saturday, the boy is asleep (almost) and I've got three episodes of Battlestar Galactica in the DVR. Life is pretty sweet. Oh, AND I finished a super hot new MPLS INTL song that I can't even bring myself to post 5 seconds of because its so damn hot. Serious!

I got a job (unpaid intern) at the local primate sanctuary.
So far...a squirrel monkey has stolen my pencil, a spider monkey tried to grab my hose with his tail (they bite a holes in hoses if they get their teeth on them) and a very friendly chimp named "Sweet Mary" claps every time I walk past her enclosure. I think she digs me.

Went to the doctor for the first time in 16 years. As I suspected, I'm the picture of perfect health. p.s. The algae is back. Crap!

Got an "A" on the test. Ended the algae problem in the pool. And realized the boy understands more than he lets on...no more Howard Stern in the car.
